Project Open Door

Project Open Door is an initiative spearheaded by The Doctors’ Volunteer Clinic to address suicides and the mental health crises we have in our community. At the Clinic, we’re intentionally making an effort to address the difficulty our friends, family members, and neighbors have in accessing mental health services in their critical time of need.

We have developed a walk-in crisis clinic for individuals experiencing mental health breakdowns and those feeling suicidal so that anyone in the community can have a place to come during the time they are most at risk.

We are all affected by mental health issues in our communities. An open door, walk-in crisis clinic helps bridge the gap between available care and a lack of means to obtain this care. Our door will be open regardless of income, insurance, employment, race, gender, etc.

Appointments are not necessary for individuals in crisis and we encourage anyone experiencing suicidal thoughts to come to the clinic for counsel and treatment. This is why we’ve created our Project Open Door clinic.

Currently, the Clinic offers this service Monday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., and Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. You are welcome to call us in advance: 435-656-0022. Learn more about our Mental Health Clinic.

Please consider donating to our Project Open Door to help us expand this clinic and services. The Doctors’ Volunteer Clinic operates solely from donations and private grants.
